S/SS/SC Series Quick Disconnect Ball Joints With Spring Or Spring Clip

Product Description:

The S/SS/SC Series Quick Disconnect Ball Joints are engineered for applications requiring rapid assembly and disassembly while maintaining reliable mechanical performance. Available in three distinct styles, these ball joints provide flexible solutions for a wide range of load and connection requirements:
• S Series: Spring-loaded sleeve design, ideal for smaller ball joint sizes.
• SS Series: Exposed spring-loaded sleeve, suitable for larger-sized applications.
• SC Series: Ball stud retained by a spring clip, optimized for lower load requirements and fewer disconnections, offering the most economical alternative.
S/SS/SC Series "quick disconnect" ball joints are especially effective in applications requiring numerous and/or fast assembly/ disassembly of the ball joint. Ball stud, sleeve and body compo-nents are produced from low carbon steel and are zinc plated and yellow dichromate treated for extended corrosion resistance. The ball stud is heat treated on all models for extended wear resistance. Right and left-handed thread versions available.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is the main difference between the S, SS, and SC Series?

A: The S Series uses a compact spring-loaded sleeve for small joints, SS Series uses an exposed spring for larger joints, and SC Series uses a spring clip for economical, lower-load applications.

Q2: Are these ball joints suitable for outdoor environments?

A: Yes, all components are zinc plated and yellow dichromate treated for corrosion resistance in outdoor or harsh environments.

Q3: Can I order custom sizes or thread types?

A: Yes, both right-hand and left-hand thread versions are available, and custom sizes or assemblies can be manufactured upon request.

Q4: What is the temperature range these ball joints can operate in?

A: They are suitable for most standard industrial and automotive operating conditions; for extreme temperatures, please consult the factory.
